I am starting this blog as I meet very inspiring people every day and I consider it my duty to share some of these true real life stories or anecdotes.
A young college teacher came to us for treatment for breast cancer. She rejoined her college after being on sabbatical for almost 12 months for her treatment. By the time she joined her college, she had gained some weight. Some of her colleagues who did not know about her cancer treatment asked her if she had delivered a baby.
She gave a very apt reply and told them – “ it’s actually my rebirth. I have a new life, new skin, new hair and nails”
What an apt reply.
To everyone who is going through cancer treatment and reading it – please don’t lose heart and hope. There is certainly light at the end of the tunnel.
